Macaroon Cookies with Beet Powder
Makes about 12
2 large egg whites
3 tablespoons (4 grams) sugar
Pinch of salt (1/8 teaspoon)
1 teaspoon (2 grams) beet powder
2 cups (180 grams) sweetened flaked coconut
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Drop tablespoon-size mounds onto parchment-lined baking sheets; slightly flatten. Bake until golden, 12 to 15 minutes. Let cool completely about 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy
